DESCRIPTION (ENG)

As a vehicle to reveal the identities of people other than just cover our bodies, clothes have a special meaning to me. While I saunter around the Hong Kong residential estates, especially the public houses, the sun-drying clothes hanging outside the buildings, they give me the feeling of intricate concrete jungle. Gaze upward, you may find the drying bamboo poles put out from the windows just look like the branches of tree and clothes like the leaf on the air, or the clothes densely hanging inside and outside of the windows, If I watch the clothes as a whole, it seem I entered into a jungle. This kind of jungle can’t escape from it; it gives the feeling of fear and suffocation. My work is to inject my perception of Hong Kong living conditions and intended to delineate the overloaded racks to reveal the suffocation of Hong Kong people living under the concrete jungle.
