The studio-based research investigates the relationship between my body and non-places*, it draws on the experience of being a dancer. The project aims to extend the use of the body as an intermedium, in order to create a physical dialogue with places that allow me to achieve a solitary moment. I use body movements to metaphorically reveal my interiority and attempt to bring forth emotions through my bodily responses towards places. I consider the making process as a form of self-scrutiny in which the result is a series of self-reflective artworks in video, photography, and sculpture.
