It’s a celebration to the old buildings, the former Police Married Quarters, which is built in the same year the Hong Kong police band established. With time the history of the building would be perfectly neglected. I tore different structural fragments, reconstructed with household utensils from the 70, 80’s creating musical instruments. The bands were formed of different ages.

這是一個關於舊建築物的慶祝會。
趁大家還未忘記，這裡可是舊警察已婚宿舍的遺址。我翻看建築物的歷史，跟香港皇家警察樂隊是同年誕生的。趁新的事物未完全覆蓋舊址留下的痕跡，我帶走從舊宿舍拆卸下來的各種碎片，包括木框、牆框、掠衫竹。再收集中環一帶七、八十年代殘破的日常用品融合轉化成一件件樂器，由不同年紀的男女組成一隊樂隊，在會場辦最後一次慶祝會。 藉樂手敲響，讓大家傾聽，陳封在舊物品的記憶發聲。曲終人散，這天紀念兩棟舊警察已婚宿舍的誕生，和他們的死亡。 12月6日同時是母親的生日，把這次表演獻給母親。 |
