"Summer Diaries" is a series of 17 water-based monotypes, recording daily life under the intense heat of Hong Kong. Having been studying overseas for the past few years, the artist splits her time between the wintery Chicago and the subtropical city of Hong Kong. "Summer Diaries", both a coherent body of work and a series of individual pieces, pinpoints specific memories from the artist spending her summer holidays back home.
