BIOGRAPHY (ENG) (within 2000 Characters) |
I am a sculptor who is interested in working with wood and clay. The scale of my work varies greatly. My current work style is tiny, as I believe that small things have a natural tendency to be treasured and to demand one's attention. The style of my work is mostly figurative, solitary, and humorous. I pay great attention to craftsmanship and prefer low-tech rather than high tech. The process of creating something small allows many unexpected possibilities. Moreover, it allows me to pay attention to my intuition.
I value the emotional component of my work. My miniature sculptures attempt to depict the intensity of a single moment. Each figure carries an unique temperament, without any languages and motions numerous messages has already been delivered. Here, feelings are the most true and reveal what matter is most. |
